What age or school year is The Maths Skill Set for?

The Maths Skill Set is designed for children ages 3–8 and progresses across three parts:

- Part 1: Typically for ages 3–5 (early number sense and spatial reasoning)
- Part 2: Typically for ages 5–7 (operations and measurement)
- Part 3: Typically for ages 7–8 (problem-solving and more advanced concepts – coming soon!)

You can choose the part that best matches your child’s current skills and readiness.

Will The Maths Skill Set work for children with different learning styles or needs?

The Maths Skill Set is designed to support a wide range of learners through hands-on, multi-sensory play. Children learn by seeing, touching, and experimenting with maths concepts, and can move at their own pace.

Concepts are introduced step by step to keep learning manageable. Children explore each idea in multiple ways, including hands-on materials, visual models, and symbols, so they can build understanding in a way that works best for them.

If your child is stuck, or needs a more or less challenging way to play a particular game, The Lovevery App has expert videos that show how you can adjust play to meet your child where they are.

How often should my child use The Maths Skill Set?

Short, repeated practise is key to building maths skills. The programme is designed to be used through regular play, with games and activities that can be revisited every day.

Can The Maths Skill Set be used with more than one child?

Yes. The Maths Skill Set is designed so children at different stages can engage with the materials at their own level as they progress. Many of the games support up to 3 or 4 players, making it easy for siblings and families to learn and play together.
